Denied, Part 1

These eagles kept calling back and forth over a several hour period.

Denied Part 2

Suddenly the male (on the right, identifiable due to his smaller size) got excited and put his wings in the air!

Is he dancing for his lady?

He goes airborn in his approach.

Denied Part 5

Could this be the beginning of baby eagles?

He gets closer.....

Suddenly the female ducks out of the way of his advance!

She rolls and he is forced to fly over her!

Denied Part 9

She almost goes upside down in her attempt to avoid his advance.

Denied Part 10

The male starts to fly off, his advances denied by the female.

Denied Part 11

She rights herself in the tree and he leaves for another tree for awhile.

The Return

Several hours later he returns to join his mate.

The Return Part 2

He lands in the tree next to her.

The Return Part 3

They call to each other.

The Return Part 4

All is right in eagle world again. :)
